The B's second album, 's "Wild Planet", is thoroughly a blast, and probably the best showcase for the late Ricky Wilson's imaginative, propulsive guitar playing--one listen to the track "Runnin' Around", with its weirdly off-kilter, yet driving riffery, and it's clear that Sonic Youth picked up a thing or two from this guy/5().

5. Anyway, some standouts from THE B'S for me are: "Rock Lobster" "Dance This Mess Around" "Lava" and "Planet Claire." I swear "Planet Claire" sounds like they used a sample from the theme song from the 60s campy tv-show "Batman." The cd comes along with a booklet with the lyrics and a little background info on the group/5().

As with their first album, the B's traveled to Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas to record Wild coiprofalstorcoden.congsupkewatalotoubudhclubarsabooks.col of the songs from the album had been concert staples since The band deliberately did not record them for their first album because they had too many tracks and wanted a strong second album, knowing that performing the tracks live would make fans look forward to it.
