  1. When I popped this Cold Heat: Heavy Funk Rarities CD in my stereo, I thought "I bet this will be weak"..I love all kinds of music and 70's funk ranks up there with Joy Division in my book. WOW! was I surprised,this CD blew my head off! These are some of the tightest arrangements I have ever heard in 4/4(27).

  6. Orrr maaan the dude like Egon has gone and finally brought out a funk comp to rival 'The Funky Sixteen Corners'. Check the first three tracks and surrender to the fonk!!! Carleen & The Groovers 'The Thing' is so hip hop in the drum dept that it hurts feeeelll Meters is effect mode! Amnesty's 'Free Your Mind' has the kind of funked intro that gets the collectors saliva juiced - amazingly.
